Services to make your wildlife leap for joy
Wildlife utilizes every aspect of trees, from top to bottom, alive or dead. Trees are used for food, shelter, resting, and nesting — for all types of critters. Knowing the best trees for your particular area, along with your wildlife habitat or food plat objectives, ensures successful habitat. At Leap Farms, we work with you to identify the best native trees and shrubs that will produce the fruit and flowers needed by your local wildlife.
Trees are grown by seed or acorn in 4” RootMaker pots. RootMaker pots air prune roots to produce a dense fibrous root system. Once transferred to a root pouch 3-gallon pot, it continues the process of building dense fibrous root systems. There is no need for removing the root pouch. Once planted in the ground, roots penetrate the surrounding soil, and the pouch degrades into fragments.
Your wildlife will leap for joy!

Food plots attract and hold more deer; they supply much-needed protein and nutrients year‑round.
Forestry mulching is a low impact process for clearing land. The forestry mulching head grinds the brush and trees in place with stumps flush with the ground or just below soil level. The end result is a mulch that acts as erosion control that will decompose, putting valuable nutrients back into the soil.
